Piper Cub
With the first models dating back to before World War II this is the plane in which many of America's pilots learned to fly. Eleanor Roosevelt flew in the plane and posed for pictures with it to promote the development of civil aviation.
The aircraft is distinctive for its exposed engine cylinders and its wide wing span that lets it take off in distances as short as 200 feet.
The model comes completely finished. The wings and wheels slide into the body on metal pins and the Cub is then ready for display on the wooden stand which is included.
The mahogany is handcrafted and sealed with numerous coats of clear lacquer giving it a high-gloss, mirror finish. This is an excellent model that will bring warmth and charm to your home or office.
