P-40 Warhawk
Famous as the planes used by the Flying Tigers in World War II, a pair of these fighters actually managed to take off and challenge the Japanese Zero's when they raided Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.
Almost 14,000 of the all metal P40 Warhawkes were built. They featured strong construction that allowed them to survive extreme punishments including being rammed in midair by opposing aircraft.
The model P40 has a refined look that will add to your home or office decor. It comes completely finished. The wings slide into place on the solid mahogany body of the P40 which is then ready for display on the stand which is included.
Two real P-40s that were flown in the movie Pearl Harbor can be seen at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho.
