The C-17 Globemaster III is the military cargo plane big enough to carry a tank.
The plane is extremely versatile. In addition to carrying cargo and equipment the C-17 can drop as many as 102 paratroopers into a battle zone as was done in the Gulf War.
The replica of the C-17 is hand carved from mahogany and is finished with a bright lacquer that brings out the rich, warm tones and grain of the wood. It is an excellent choice for decorating your den or desk. It is fully finished. It is not a kit. The wooden wings slide into place when you remove it from the box and place it on its stand for display.
